My Background
I grew up in Milford, Michigan and studied Business and Marketing at Ferris State University, graduating from the Professional Golf Management Program. My early ambition was to become a PGA Club Professional, and I spent my formative years working at some of the best public and private golf facilities in the country. Those experiences taught me discipline, service, humility—and introduced me to many successful, influential people who shaped the way I view leadership and life.
During my final internship, I moved to Chicago, where I met my wife and ultimately realized that I wanted to join a country club someday—not work at one. I transitioned into sales, beginning in litigation support for Chicago law firms. That role taught me that small things—responsiveness, professionalism, follow-through—create big impressions and build trust.
From there, my career evolved into cybersecurity sales, where I have spent the last 15 years working with Fortune 2000 organizations on complex enterprise software deals. Throughout that journey, I’ve consistently surrounded myself with people I could learn from, developing a skill set rooted in relationship-building, honest communication, problem-solving, and delivering on expectations.
Business is challenging, but it’s also incredibly rewarding. My career success has come from keeping things simple: be responsive, do what you say you’ll do, and treat everyone with respect.
Today, I have a beautifully family, wife, 2 kids and a dog. My wife works at at the local high school in the Transitions Program focussing on transitioning special needs young adults into the community. Both kids are in college pursuing Business Marketing degrees while participating in NCAA sports, golf (daughter) and son (baseball).
